An absolutely fantastic experience. In just four hours with Helene, I learned far more than I expected. She is an exceptionally accomplished chef, and her knowledge, expertise and professionalism shine through, all delivered with such a warm and friendly approach.

Hosting the class in her home kitchen really showed that you don’t need a professional setup to achieve amazing results. We learned about sourdough starters and watched Helene make focaccia, crackers, crumpets and a cinnamon and raisin loaf — all using sourdough — with plenty of opportunity to take notes and confidently recreate everything at home.

The experience was topped off with a delicious, relaxed lunch around Helene’s dining table, which included far more than just the freshly baked sourdough and was a wonderful surprise. With generous goodie bags, including our own sourdough starter to take home, this class was excellent value for money.

I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to book another class. Thank you, Helene!

I attended one of Helene’s courses in January, I can’t thank her enough for the best four hours of relevent learning I have had in a long time.

The day started off with fresh coffee and pastries, a lovely warm welcome into her family home. The session was really well structured and not at all rubbish. Plenty of time for questions, the handouts and goody bags were a lovely professional touch.

What really struck me was Helene’s passion for her art and a genuine desire to share her knowledge at a pace that worked for the audience.

As well as this is all possible in a home environment, you don’t need an industrial kitchen!
