Technical Officer

We are WorkwithYork and we are working with our York based client to find a full time Technical Officer in Waste services.

This is a full time (37 hours per week Mon-Fri), temporary assignment for the next 3 months with potential scope for extension. This will be an office based role, within walking distance of York City Centre.

The pay rate is £13.86 per hour.

This role involves:

• Dealing directly with customers by telephone and electronically
• Providing excellent customer service with the aim of resolving queries at first point of contact
• Dealing with complaints and requests for service, arranging deliveries, dealing with missed collections, explaining policy and procedures and signposting to other services
• Supporting various administrative tasks across the service including the recording of information and updating of databases and systems

You will need:

• Previous customer service and administration experience
• Excellent IT skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Great attention to detail
