Mr Hot Dog is a small, independent hot dog van based in York. We specialise in serving high-quality pork hot dogs at private bookings, corporate events, and public food festivals across Yorkshire.

We do two main types of event. For private bookings, the host pays in advance based on the number of guests. For public events, we trade directly with the public and people pay for their own food. The setup and menu are the same in both cases, it’s just the payment model that changes.

The menu is short and focused. Our hot dogs are 26cm long, made from 85% pork, and lightly smoked for flavour. They’re gluten-free, skinless, and served in a soft brioche roll with a choice of classic or more adventurous toppings.

The van is compact and easy to set up, which means we can work at a wide range of events from weddings and staff lunches to music festivals and village shows. We usually arrive around an hour before service, get set up quickly, and serve efficiently to keep things moving.
