L & S Crafts, based in York, is run by wife & husband team, Laura & Sam. Laura provides the ‘craft’ element and Sam the ‘artistic’ input!

Papercraft Workshops

Laura is passionate about all kinds of paper-based crafts and she really enjoys developing new workshops to pass on these skills to others. Papercrafts are a wonderful introduction to the world of craft, as with simple equipment and a bit of expert knowledge you can create beautiful items to enjoy yourself or share with friends & family. Workshops are  held at various venues across Yorkshire and private bookings are also available. The current workshop range includes:

• Papercut Lanterns
• Origami (Star Garlands, Fairy Lights, Lilies)
• Marbling
• Stamp Carving
• Paper Christmas Decorations
• Christmas Crackers

Wild Harvest Nature-Inspired Craft Workshops

We are activity providers for Wild Harvest School of Self-Reliance and run a selection of their nature-inspired craft workshops, including:

• Flower crowns (faux, fresh or dried)
• Beeswax candle rolling
• Bath bombs
• Soap making
• Leather journals
• Willow stars

These bite-sized workshops are perfect for social gatherings such as hen parties and baby showers.

Private Workshop Bookings

L & S Crafts are available for private workshop bookings at your own venue across Yorkshire, the North England and the Midlands. We can bring our craft boxes to private houses, village halls, function rooms, workplaces, cafes, pubs, etc. Past workshop bookings have included hen and birthday parties, community groups, corporate team building sessions, Country Living Christmas Fair and a guest appearance on the 'Winter On The Farm' TV show!
